Nike is preparing an Oregon Ducks-inspired Air Foamposite Pro with a visual treatment unlike many traditional team sneakers. The “Mummy Duck” combines Oregon-exclusive design language with a dark iridescent Foamposite shell.
The Oregon Ducks have a long association with Nike, partly because of the university’s historical connection to Nike founders Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman. Over the years, this relationship has produced an extensive collection of team and player-exclusive footwear.
Many Oregon PE models remain difficult for ordinary collectors to obtain. The Mummy Duck is notable because the concept is expected to transition into a publicly available release.
The Foamposite upper is finished in a dark, reflective treatment. Its appearance changes as the viewing angle moves, with green, black and purple tones becoming visible across the shell.
Black covers the tongue, collar and lace area, while white laces provide contrast. The oversized Swoosh is finished in pale fluorescent green.
The Swoosh also features an unusual supporting element. A layer of frayed white fabric sits underneath it, creating the impression of loose bandages and connecting directly with the mummy-inspired theme.
Oregon-specific details are present on the heel and insole, while the pull tab includes OREGON lettering. The black outsole continues the darker aesthetic and carries another fluorescent green Swoosh.
The Mummy Duck is expected to be one of two Oregon-themed Foamposite Pro releases planned around the end of 2026.
